For many, interior design seems like a glamorous job—choosing beautiful fabrics, playing with colors, and imagining dreamy spaces. While that is a part of it, the reality often looks like this:
This year was no exception. One of our most challenging projects involved a historic home renovation. Preserving the original charm while updating the space to modern standards was a balancing act. Working within older structural constraints often led to last-minute adjustments, but the final result—a harmonious blend of old and new—was worth every sleepless night.
As always, trends in interior design have played a significant role in shaping our projects. These standout products and concepts have left their mark:
Clients have been drawn to eco-friendly options like reclaimed wood, natural countertops, and low-VOC paints.
These choices not only look stunning but also align with the growing focus on sustainability.
The mix of brass, matte black, and chrome in fixtures and hardware created depth and personality in bathrooms and kitchens.
From oversized pendants in kitchens to sculptural chandeliers in living spaces, bold lighting has reigned supreme.
Bouclé furniture, fluted cabinetry, and textured wall treatments added tactile interest to spaces.
Seamlessly incorporating technology, from touchless faucets to smart lighting systems, has been a game-changer for many clients.
These accolades are not just personal achievements; they’re a testament to the incredible clients, vendors, and team members we’ve collaborated with throughout the year. Every project completed feels like an accomplishment, but this year, a few milestones stood out:
Honored for excellence in best business practices, recognizing our innovative and client-focused approach as an interior design firm.
Nominated as the Best Interior Design Firm in our hometown in Washington, a reflection of our local impact and dedication to community-inspired design.
Our projects were showcased in an esteemed publication, reaching and inspiring readers across the Northwest with our design expertise.
As we reflect on this year, we’re reminded that design is a journey—a mix of creativity, problem-solving, and deep human connection. Each project brings its lessons, and each client inspires us to push boundaries.
The upcoming year promises even more innovation, with advancements in technology and an ever-evolving design landscape. Whether it’s diving into bold new trends or tackling challenging spaces, we’re ready to create designs that not only look beautiful but also feel like home.
Thank you to our clients, collaborators, and supporters for trusting us to bring your visions to life. Here’s to another year of inspiring spaces and unforgettable moments!
